Power up your imagination, creativity, and learning with Ms. Crystal through a variety of weekly activities that will guide today's curious minds to become tomorrow's great innovators.
Theme: Forensics
Step into the world of mystery and investigation! Young detectives will examine clues, dust for fingerprints, analyze evidence, and use critical thinking skills to solve a simulated crime scene. Through hands-on activities and scientific investigation, participants will discover how real forensic scientists uncover secrets hidden in plain sight.
Activities Include
- Dusting for and identifying fingerprints
- Examining mock crime scene evidence
- Learning observation and deduction techniques
- Matching fingerprint patterns
- Solving a mystery through clue analysis
- Creating evidence notes and investigation findings
- Working together to develop a final theory of the case
Participants will:
- Practice scientific observation and deductive reasoning
- Learn basic forensic science techniques
- Explore fingerprint analysis and identification
- Understand the importance of evidence collection and documentation
- Develop problem-solving and teamwork skills through investigation activities
